Drogba who had a number of well publicized disagreements with former coach Felipe Scolari had previously claimed that he would play until his current contract at Chelsea is up in 2010 before leaving the team. However, it seems like the situation has changed and Drogba is happy with the current team and new coach Carlo Ancelloti so much that he has agreed to sign a deal which will keep him there until 2012. In an interview with Sky Sports, he said, "I like Chelsea. I have spent good times here and I am part of this great club. "There have been some difficult times, but it is great to play for a team with quality players."
