| Debt-ridden and depleted Portsmouth have suffered another blow as Ghanaian winger Quincy Owusu-Abeyie has surprisingly signed with Al Saad of Qatar. The Former Ajax winger was needed by Al Saad to replace compatriot Opoku Agyemang who suffered an ACL tear that will keep him out of action for six months. Ironically it is Opoku, who performed admirably for the Black Star in Angola, who has kept Owusu-Abeyie frozen out of the Black Stars. The 23-year old Owusu-Abeyie was on loan to Pompey from Spartak Moscow.
